In the context of hypnosis, this term has nothing to do with the direct translation from English.

This refers to light to moderately strong tapping with one or two fingers on the subject’s forehead.
It is used to distract, confuse and/or increase attention (focus).

It can therefore be used to increase the intensity of an ongoing process, or
to neutralize the conscious part of a recurring emotion.

Always be aware that your subject is much more sensitive in trance. Accordingly, only tap very lightly on your subject’s forehead. It’s closer to stroking than tapping!
