Self-hypnosis using an audio file

Creating an audio file has now become very easy.
A large number of apps are available on the Internet; In addition, most cell phones, notebooks and tablets have very good programs with which you can make recordings in a simple way, even without technical knowledge;

There are two types of audio files

General audio file

This is a general hypnosis. It can be used by anyone and does not refer to a specific person. This may very well be a specific problem or goal that is to be achieved;

Advantage

  • They only need to be recorded once and can normally be used for a long time;
  • They are aimed at a large audience and work for most of your customers;
  • You can send them to your client before the appointment as a small gesture; This means that your client has already experienced hypnosis several times before the session and is conditioned to your voice;

Disadvantage

  • Refers to a broad spectrum
  • It may or may not be appealing.
  • The client does not necessarily feel personally addressed.
  • No possibility of adaptation to words, time, music…

Personalized audio file

Another option is to include a file personalized to the customer;

Advantage

  • Your client feels directly addressed.
  • The client’s topic and/or goal can be addressed directly;
  • Use of suggestions that correspond to the topic and customer.
  • Your client will continue to be supported;

Disadvantage

  • The audio file must of course always be re-recorded.
  • The audio file refers only to the one client and the one topic or/and goal;
  • More complex to manufacture

However, you can make your work a little easier by recording part of the session live. Especially the induction or deepening part;
With a little skill, you can also record individual blocks where you only need to add the client’s name and/or the personal suggestions later;

Optimum quality

When creating your audio file, you should take the following points into account;

Inform the listener before the induction:

  • that the audio file may only be used in safe places and moments. Not when driving a car, for example;
  • That it must not be heard if the doctor advises against hypnosis;

Other:

  • Give the listener a few minutes to prepare for the audio;
  • Adopt an upright, comfortable posture when taking the picture;
  • Use a quiet room or moment where there is no background noise;
  • Memorize your text
  • When using a template, hold it at eye level (no scrolling). A teleprompter can be very useful here.
  • Be relaxed, speak clearly and calmly, and be in good mental and physical condition;
  • Provide pauses for thought at the appropriate points;
  • Use relaxing background music
    (Attention: use license-free music, online downloads)

Instructions for an audio file:
